How to Install and Activate X-Particles for Cinema 4D
X-Particles is a powerful particle and VFX system for Maxon's Cinema 4D. It allows you to create stunning simulations of smoke, fire, fluids, grains, cloth and more. In this article, we will show you how to install and activate X-Particles for Cinema 4D.
To install X-Particles, you need to download the installer from the INSYDIUM website. You will need to log in with your customer account and enter your serial number to access the download. The serial number is a 16-digit code that you received when you purchased X-Particles.
Once you have downloaded the installer, run it and follow the instructions on the screen. You will need to select the Cinema 4D version and folder where you want to install X-Particles. The installer will copy the necessary files and folders to your Cinema 4D directory.
To activate X-Particles, you need to have an active internet connection and a valid maintenance agreement with INSYDIUM. You can check your maintenance status on your customer account page.
When you launch Cinema 4D for the first time after installing X-Particles, you will see a dialog box asking you to enter your serial number. Enter the same serial number that you used to download the installer and click OK. X-Particles will then connect to the INSYDIUM licensing server and validate your licence.
If the activation is successful, you will see a confirmation message and you can start using X-Particles. If there is a problem with the activation, you will see an error message with a possible reason and solution. You can also contact INSYDIUM support if you need further assistance.
X-Particles needs to connect to the INSYDIUM licensing server on a regular basis to revalidate your licence. How frequently it does so is controlled by the 'Close License Seat on Exit' switch in the main X-Particles preferences. If this switch is checked, every time you exit Cinema 4D the licence seat is closed. This makes the same licence available for use on another machine, if required. If this switch is unchecked, the licence seat is not closed when you exit Cinema 4D, and then you can continue to use X-Particles offline for up to 14 days before needing to reconnect.
You can also manage your licences using the X-Particles Licence Manager, which enables you to see which seats are in use on which machines. You can access the Licence Manager from the X-Particles menu in Cinema 4D or from your customer account page on the INSYDIUM website.
X-Particles is a versatile and easy-to-use particle system for Cinema 4D. To install and activate it, you need to have a serial number, an internet connection and a maintenance agreement with INSYDIUM. You can also manage your licences using the X-Particles preferences or the Licence Manager. We hope this article has helped you get started with X-Particles and enjoy its amazing features. 29c81ba772
